Excerpts from our show at Northside Stage MusicFest 2021

Here are two songs that contrast love from a young man's perspective versus a young lady's perspective. In "Anyone but You," a young man of 17 describes how he feels being in love for the first time. In "Middle of the Night," an older lady reminisces about her first love when she was just 17.

"Crazy Blue" is a light, jazzy tune written in 2012, one of the earliest Hot Tamale original songs. The song "Cry, Cry, Cry" is our tribute to the musical style of Hank Williams, a song we wrote in that same style.

"Grandpa Had a Dance Band" is a very special tune for Adrian. It tells about her Grandfather who played in a dance band. She shows the actual tambourine that her Grandfather used and passed down to her. The song talks about how his original guitar, a Sears & Roebuck Archtop Harmony, became her first guitar, and then she describes each of the guitars she owned later in life.
